Record rainfall totals across our region helped to put out the wild fires burning and lowered the threat of new ones significantly. However, drought conditions continue to plaque the state.
Despite the new daily rainfall records that were set in some areas during the "May Miracle", southern California and the entire state is in bad shape when it comes to this season's precipitation totals.
