Cristy Fajardo

KTTV FOX 11 (myfoxla.com) - Born to an American mother and a Peruvian father, Cristy had the good fortune to grow up with two cultures and two languages.

Fluent in Spanish, she interned at a TV network in Lima, Peru and covered the stock market in Madrid, Spain.

Prior to coming to KTTV/KCOP, Cristy reported for KNSD in San Diego, and at the Orange County Newschannel. She started her television career in her hometown of Salinas, California.

The Emmy-nominated journalist has a B.A in political Science from UCBerkeley and a Masters in Journalism from Northwestern University.
