KTTV FOX 11 (myfoxla.com) - Dorothy Lucey is the entertainment reporter for the Emmy award-winning Good Day LA, seen weekday mornings on KTTV FOX 11. Lucey files late-breaking and comprehensive news from the entertainment industry each weekday morning in addition to presenting live interviews with leading celebrities, both in-studio and on location.
Lucey joined KTTV FOX 11 in January 1995. Before that, she had been co-host of the CBS primetime series "How'd They Do That" along with Pat O'Brien from 1992-94, and co-hosted Lifetime Television's "Attitudes" series with Rolonda Watts from 1991-92. Lucey also co-hosted Rose Parade coverage in 1993 for KTTV and in 1994 for CBS.
She also appeared on the national show, Good Day Live, along with fellow "GDLAers" Steve Edwards and Jillian Barberie.
Based in Los Angeles from 1987-92, Lucey was KCBS's lifestyles and entertainment reporter, co-hosted "Studio 22" (1989-92), and reported for CBS’s summer series "Primetime Pets" (1990).
During 1983-87, Lucey worked in New York as a general assignment reporter at WABC (1985-87), a feature reporter for NBC Sports (1984-85) and a reporter for WABC's "New York Style" (1983-84).
Lucey, a native of New York, was graduated from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.
