Liz Habib

KTTV FOX 11 (myfoxla.com) - Liz Habib is one of Studio 11 LA's featured reporters, joining anchor Jeff Michael, and fellow featured reporters Ed Laskos and Lisa Breckenridge.

Habib came to KTTV in March 2005 after 10 years at KTVK in Phoenix. While there, she hosted her own hour long news show for the leading independent station in the market. She has also hosted and anchored many specials and live events and covered numerous national stories including anchoring from the field for such big stories as the Rodeo Chediski fire in Arizona.

She has received two Emmy's for her work as a reporter and anchor , and a national Emmy nomination  for her work in Cleveland on a special show about teen pregnancy.

She has also received numerous community and civic awards for her work with charities and in the community.

Her experience includes covering many national and international stories including the crash of the Space Shuttle Columbia, the President Bill Clinton impeachment controversy, the Monica Lewinsky scandal, the JonBenet Ramsey case, and the death of Princess Diana.

Prior to KTTK in Phoenix,  Liz worked as the weekend anchor/reporter at WKYC in Cleveland. She started her career at WTOV TV9 in Steubenville/Wheeling.

When she's not at work she loves hanging out with her friends,  running,  and traveling.

She is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and received her B.A. in English from the University of Pittsburgh.

Her family is her greatest love. Liz has 6 brothers, a sister,  too many nieces and nephews to count... and the cutest little dog in the world, Max!
