Thomas Dekker Arrested for Alleged DUI

N. Hollywood (myFOXla.com) - Actor Thomas Dekker was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk and hitting a bicyclist in North Hollywood, the California Highway Patrol reported today.

Dekker was driving a 2004 Toyota Matrix east on Burbank Boulevard around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday when he turned right to get on the Hollywood (170) Freeway and struck Arthur A. Elorza, 17, of North Hollywood, who was riding a bicycle in a crosswalk, according to the CHP.

Elorza was taken to Providence St. Joseph Hospital with minor injuries.

Dekker was booked into the Van Nuys Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage resulting in an injury to a party involved in a traffic collision. He was released today on $100,000 bail.

Dekker portrayed John Connor on the TV show "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," and has also appeared on "Heroes," "7th Heaven," and "House."
