Los Angeles - Lindsay Lohan was a passenger in a luxury car that struck a paparazzo photographer outside a Hollywood night club early today, an incident described by Los Angeles police as "assault with a deadly weapon," police said.
The incident was reported about 12:30 a.m. today outside The Hotel Cafe, a nightspot on Cahuenga Boulevard just south of Hollywood Boulevard. It involved a black BMW that Lohan was in, said Los Angeles police Officer Norma Eisenman of the Media Relations Section.
No arrests were made, Eisenman said. Police took a report, and she said they did not consider it to be a case of hit-and-run.
The driver was not identified.
A freelance news photographer who saw the event said it was clear that the paparazzo was hurt.
