Glendale - Actress Eva La Rue is in a bit of a spat with the City of Glendale and some neighbors over a wooden gate at the front of her home that was built without proper permits.
La Rue had been cited by the city for violating several codes and ordered to remove the gate, but a zoning administrator later allowed the gate to stay.
That apparently didn't go over too well with neighbors, and the latter decision was shot down.
La Rue appealed, arguing that the gate was put in to protect her and her eight-year-old daughter from an alleged stalker.
The council is deadlocked over what to do about it at the moment, but the opponents say the law is the law... and everyone needs to follow it.
