Los Angeles - A judge today dismissed a cocaine possession charge against Stephen Glover, one of the prank-pulling, stunt-performing stars of the MTV series "Jackass."
"He earned his way to a dismissal. He had to stay clean and sober and criminal violation-free for 18 months," Glover's attorney, Barry Gerald Sands, said of his 35-year-old client.
The defense attorney noted that Glover had "almost two years of continuous sobriety" and is "doing phenomenal."
The felony case stemmed from Glover's arrest about 5 a.m. March 3, 2008, in the 1400 block of Fuller Avenue in Hollywood. He was released the following day on $20,000 bail.
The charge was dismissed by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Bianco as a result of Glover's completion of a drug rehabilitation program.
