Los Angeles - Los Angeles social workers are recommending that Halle Berry takes joint parenting classes with the father of her child, Gabriel Aubry, despite them being locked in a bitter custody battle, RadarOnline.com reported Monday.
The 45-year-old Oscar winner is due in court Monday seeking a court order blocking Aubry from having contact with their three-year-old daughter Nahla, while claims he assaulted the child's nanny are investigated.
Aubry, 36, is currently under investigation for criminal battery and child endangerment, after nanny Alliance Kamdem claimed the French-Canadian male model assaulted her while she held Nahla and repeatedly yelled and cursed at her in the presence of the child, according to TMZ. Aubry denies the allegations.
Following a joint interview with Berry and Aubry, social workers have written an extensive report that will be given to the judge for his consideration Monday.
"That report will recommend that no changes in custody be made," a source told RadarOnline.com . "The report recommends that Halle and Gabriel attend parenting classes together, so that they can co-parent Nahla together."
"The classes will give them the tools to work through their issues, and hopefully become better parents for it," the source added.
