Los Angeles - "The Escort", a play by Emmy-winning playwright Jane Anderson, opened in previews at the Geffen Playhouse on Tuesday night.

If you haven't heard much about it, there could be a reason. The theater's ads for the show have been refused, toned down, or run without the name of the play.

How risque could the show be to stir up that much controversy? Is it even the show itself that's behind all the brouhaha?
