Dara Torres was the first American swimmer to compete in five Olympics (1984, 1988, 1992, 2000, and 2008), and she won the silver medal in three events last summer in Beijing. She has won twelve Olympic medals in her career, but now she's taking a different path. She's now a national PTA Ambassador, where she joins millions of parents and educators working toward improving the lives of children, as well as urging parents and families to be more involved.
