Los Angeles - When Major League Baseball took control of the Dodgers from owner Frank McCourt, Tom Schieffer was put in charge of running the team.
Schieffer who was given the official title of "Monitor" was a former president of the Texas Rangers baseball team, and under President George W. Bush the US Ambassador to Japan and then Australia.
On Monday Schieffer joined us live to talk about his new gig.
