Los Angeles - Italian teen trio "Il Volo" got their start on a show similar to "American Idol" in Italy… Now the group has a platinum-selling album overseas, which debuted here in the U.S. on Tuesday.

This week "Il Volo" will be performing on "American Idol," but first they performed for us live on GDLA.
