Just days after pulling out of her planned appearance at the People's Choice Awards, Katy Perry won five trophies at the event on Wednesday night.
The singer and the film, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2," won the most awards at the ceremony, held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, where winners are selected by internet vote.
Perry won Favorite Female Artist, Tour Headliner, Song of the Year for "E.T.," Music Video for "Last Friday Night," and TV Guest Star for her appearance on "How I Met Your Mother."
Perry, 27, said Monday that she wouldn't be attending the awards. The announcement came 10 days after her husband of 14 months, 36-year-old British comedian Russell Brand, filed for divorce.
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2," the eighth and final installment in the Harry Potter series, won four awards -- Favorite Movie, Action Movie, Book Adaptation and Ensemble Movie Cast.
"Glee" star Lea Michele won Favorite TV Comedy Actress and dedicated the award to the cast of the hit show and "all the Rachel Berrys out there" -- a reference to her character, an aspiring starlet.
After picking up the Favorite TV Comedy Actor award for his role in "How I Met Your Mother," Neil Patrick Harris joked that his one-year-old twins Gideon and Harper "should be asleep in the limo at the valet."
Other winners included Johnny Depp for Favorite Movie Actor, Emma Stone for Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite Comedic Movie Actress, Hugh Jackman for Favorite Action Movie Star, while Demi Lovato, who performed on the night, won Favorite Pop Artist.
"I won this award because of my fans so I dedicate this to you guys," Lovato said. "Without you guys tweeting so many times I wouldn't be here tonight."
Bruno Mars won Favorite Male Artist, Lady Gaga picked up Album of the Year for "Born This Way," Eminem was named Favorite Hip-Hop Artist, Rihanna won Favorite R&B Artist and Maroon 5 walked away with the award for Favorite Band.
