Los Angeles (myFOXla.com) - This Job Shop interview features Denise Lamonte, who was with a medical billing software company as a trainer, until she was laid off due to company downsizing.

Denise has been job hunting for over a year following her layoff, and she's got some advice for job seekers.

Don't let rejection get you down. Keep a positive attitude!

It's a tough job market... and just as not every job is right for you, not every interviewee is right for the employer.

Seek support... from family, friends, and peers... but don't be afraid to let them know to back off. It's your job hunt and you'll let them know how it's going. They'll certainly understand that.
