FOX 11's Susan Hirasuna shows you how they're made.
Story Script:
Mr. Chow's has been in Beverly Hills for more than 30 years. If you've never had hand pulled noodles, it's one of the only places west of the San Gabriel Valley where you can get some.
Noodle chef Hoi Kin Li speaks little English, but he's a master at the ancient art of hand pulling noodles.
The dough is made up of only flour and water. With a thwack, a pull, a twirl, and a bounce... that flour and water becomes oodles of noodles.
The noodle strands seem to appear magically.
It takes years to master this skill, and only the Chinese are up to the Mr. Chow standard.
