Beverly Hills - In the mood for fresh pasta that isn't dried? Check out your grocer's refrigerator case.Looking for fresh "hand pulled" noodles? They're harder to find, but we tracked them down... at Mr. Chow's in Beverly Hills.

FOX 11's Susan Hirasuna shows you how they're made.

Story Script:

Mr. Chow's has been in Beverly Hills for more than 30 years. If you've never had hand pulled noodles, it's one of the only places west of the San Gabriel Valley where you can get some.

Noodle chef Hoi Kin Li speaks little English, but he's a master at the ancient art of hand pulling noodles.

The dough is made up of only flour and water. With a thwack, a pull, a twirl, and a bounce... that flour and water becomes oodles of noodles.

The noodle strands seem to appear magically.

It takes years to master this skill, and only the Chinese are up to the Mr. Chow standard.

Chris Denton, Mr. Chow Maitre D'
We can't find them in America. We have to go to the source... to China or to Hong Kong. Not the same.

Mr. Chow is located at 344 N. Camden Dr. in Beverly Hills. You can get more information at mrchow.com/blog/beverly-hills

And... if you follow @SeeSusansSecret on Twitter , Susan will tell you about an off-the-menu item that you simply have to order!
