So you want to brave the crowds and cold to get the best deals on Black Friday? If you're wondering who has the best deals on what, here are a few online tools you can use to plot your shopping strategy.

Black Friday Web Sites

There are number of sites listing store ads and sales. Among them -- BlackFriday.com , Black-Friday.net and BlackFriday.info . But PC World names BFAds.net the best site of the bunch. It features the latest sale news, scans of ads as well as a search function where you can search a specific product that you're interested in buying. Another good site for ads is DealNews.com , which has fact-checked all of the deals on its page.

Black Friday on Twitter

People are scouring the Web, finding deals and posting the information on the general Twitter feed . Also Cheap Tweet , a site that scours people's Twitter feeds for deals they're posting, aggregates all the tweets on a nice page. If you're looking for a specific item, you can also search Cheap Tweet.

Black Friday on Facebook

Keep up with all the latest news on Black Friday on Facebook . People are sharing comments and tips about specific ads and items.

Black Friday Price Checks

Use the following sites to check to see if the Black Friday sale you're interested in has the best prices -- PriceGrabber.com , Shopping.com , eBay and Half .

Black Friday General Strategies

DealNews.com writes that the best deals aren't just on Black Friday itself -- people should start shopping on Thursday. Also look out for deals online -- Amazon.com and Buy.com will also have Black Friday sales, and Apple typically has deals online for some of their most popular products.
