An iPad 2 security flaw is making news today. According to 9to5 Mac , anyone with a Smart Cover can break into your "password-protected" iPad 2.
The problem has been reported to work under iOS 5 (the latest operating system), but may also work under iOS 4.3.
Basically, the Smart Cover unlock flaw allows access to whatever app the iPad 2 had running when it went to sleep or was locked.
Check out this YouTube video to see the flaw in action.
According to 9to5 Mac, a temporary fix would be to disable Smart Cover unlocking under the General tab of the settings menu.
