FOX 11 News Special: Saving the California Dream

Los Angeles - "Saving the California Dream" series producer Heidi Cuda has interviewed business leaders and politicians about the state of our state's economy for the past few months, and this half-hour special summarizes the impact of high taxes and a tough regulatory environment on our state's business exodus. In this special, we give California some tough love, but we also show our viewers the innovators who just may help turn things around for the better.

Part One: Spotlights the exodus of business, what prompted it and what can be done to stave off more businesses leaving for other states.

Part Two: Showcases the politicians who are confronting the business exodus, those hoping to make progress in 2012 to turn California from a state that pushes business away to a state that works with the business community.

Part Three: Our viewers are given a bird's eye view of rural California, as they go with us up to Siskiyou County, the northern most region of our state. Its residents tell us their very way of life is being threatened by too many regulations and environmental lawsuits.
