The War on Rural California: Part Three

Saving the California Dream series.

Siskiyou County - We hear more of the voices from Siskiyou County, a northern region some say is the forgotten county.

Biologist Rich Klug, who works for Roseburg Wood Products, describes how even the introduction of a green energy biomass facility resulted in tears of environmental litigation.

We also hear from Joan Smith Freeman, the Executive Director of the Yreka Chamber of Commerce, who is celebrating the groundbreaking of Belcampo Organic Meat Products, which is bringing jobs to this hard hit community.

Series Producer Heidi Cuda gives her first person account of the struggles of rural California and how determined the people of Siskiyou County are to overcome their tough regulatory climate.
