Glendora - A $4,000 parrot that flew out of its cage and out a Glendora home and into a tree finally gave up his chance at freedom after eluding animal control officers for an entire day.
Milo, a Senegal parrot, escaped his cage and managed to get out of his owners' home in Glendora on Thursday.
He flew into a tree and sat there for a while. That's when animal control agents were called in.
The problem... every time they got close, Milo made for the sky again. Fortunately for his owners, just landed in other nearby trees.
The bird drama went on for an entire day until a friend of Milo's owners climbed a ladder late Friday morning and was able to coax the parrot down.
Cage closed on this case.
