LOS ANGELES - Some gang investigators say it's a problem that's growing out of control…a place for prison inmates who want out of gangs turning into a place for dangerous new gangs.
More than a decade ago, the department of corrections set-up a few yards designated to protect inmates who have safety issues - mostly gang dropouts.
But as Chris Blatchford reports...those prison yards have turned into breeding grounds for new gangs and new violence.
