Boy Struck by Vehicle While Biking

Winnetka (myFOXla.com) - A boy on a bicycle who collided with an SUV today in Winnetka was airlifted to a hospital, a city fire official said.

The boy was injured around 8 p.m. in the 20300 block of Keswick Street, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The boy was taken to UCLA Medical Center, Humphrey said.

Fire officials said he was in serious condition, Fox11 reported.

The boy's mother told Channel 11 his name is Marvin Gonzalez and that he is 9 years old.
