Sunland (myFOXla.com) - Check out this raw video of the Department of Animal Services Small Animal Rescue Team in action.

Here's what happened:

A man was walking his dog along Wheatland Avenue in Sunland when the dog slipped and tumbled 80 feet down a hillside.

Not a good scenario. The dog was trapped and the weather was hot. And, did we mention the pooch weighed in at a whopping 120 pounds?

The man called for help and the animal rescue team sprung into action.

The rescue took about 15 minutes from start to finish. As you can tell by watching the two-part video, it was a pretty intense and involved operation.

A little food and a lot of water later... everyone's doing just fine.
