Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an apparent double murder, kidnapping and suicide that started at an Ontario home on Saturday morning.
Authorities say that Ontario Police Dispatch received a call of a shooting at a residence in the 2700 block of East Chaparral Street around 5:26 a.m., and when officers and emergency personnel got there, they found two shooting victims dead at the scene.
Police say the two people killed, a 21-year-old man and his 48-year-old mother, had been at the home along a woman who was staying with them overnight when that woman's ex-boyfriend showed up, apparently shot the mother and son, and then abducted the woman.
A warrant was issued for the suspect, identified as 25-year-old Joey Demello of Ontario, who was on active parole through the California Department of Corrections and considered armed and dangerous.
Demello was later found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at a trailer park near the California-Nevada border.
The kidnapped woman was found at a nearby location. She had not been harmed.
On Sunday, San Bernardino County coroner's officials identified the deceased as 21-year-old Anthony Raygosa and 48-year-old Daniella Raygosa.
