Dr. Phil Showers Octuplet Mom with Childcare Gifts

Los Angeles (myFOXla.com) - The Southern California mother of octuplets has been given a baby shower of sorts, with television's Dr. Phil McGraw doling out gifts to the applause of his studio audience.

On Wednesday's "Dr. Phil" show, Nadya Suleman was given free cribs, free bunkbeds, free upgrades to her new home and free nursing help to help care for her 14 children.

Suleman says she's grateful for the help, which includes construction upgrades to the La Habra home she intends to live in with her children.

But Suleman says that no donations have been made to the nonprofit nursing group, Angels in Waiting. The group volunteered to help Suleman, but is dependent on public donations to pay for caring for the babies.
