Idol's Carly Smithson Joins The Fallen

Los Angeles (myFOXla.com) - Some of the original members of the band Evanescence have a new group with former American Idol contestant, Carly Smithson, as the lead singer.

The full lineup consists of Smithson and three of the four original members of Evanescence... guitarists Ben Moody and John LeCompt and drummer Rocky Gray, as well as bassist Marty O’Brien.

The new band's called The Fallen.

Jane Yamamoto was there for their first live performance.
