Newport Beach (myFOXla.com) - The sons of a murdered married couple who were thrown off their yacht and into the sea have decided to put the boat up for sale.
The Well Deserved, a 55-foot, teak-galley trawler formerly owned by Thomas and Jackie Hawks has been in dry-dock for four years, held as evidence by Orange County authorities.
The couple was killed in 2004 when former "Might Morphin' Power Rangers" actor Skylar Deleon masterminded a plot to steal the vessel. Deleon and accomplice John Fitzgerald Kennedy were convicted and sentenced to death for forcing the couple to sign sale papers then having them tied to an anchor and thrown alive into the water off the Southern California coast.
The couple's children said they lack the money for the boat's upkeep and the time required to maintain it. They will put it up for sale for $229,000.
