Soldier Ride Comes to Santa Monica

Santa Monica (myFOXla.com) - The Wounded Warrior Project's "Soldier Ride" continued on Friday in Santa Monica.

The ride's a fundraising effort that funds mental and physical rehabilitation opportunities for soldiers who have been wounded in the war on terror.

After the Santa Monica event on Friday, the Soldier Ride will continue on Saturday in San Diego.

Wounded Warrior Project is a non-profit organization whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors. WWP offers services and programs like benefits and career counseling, advocacy initiatives and combat stress seminars to aid in the transition from hospital bed to independence.
