Boy Dies after Fall from Third-Story Window

Del Rey - A 4-year-old boy died today of injuries suffered in an accidental fall from a third-story window in Del Rey, authorities said.

The fall was reported at 6:12 p.m. Sunday at 13701 Marina Pointe Drive, said Matt Spence of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Niko Laurie died at a hospital about 2:45 this morning, said coroner's Chief Craig Harvey.

The death was being investigated as an accident, Harvey said.
