Los Angeles (myFOXla.com) - Four reputed gang members have been arrested after a shootout with Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies in which nobody was hurt.
A sheriff's statement says that two deputies pulled over a car in Los Angeles Monday night because of information that it contained gang members planning a shooting in the Lennox area.
The statement says four men got out of the car and one of the passengers passenger opened fire with a handgun, hitting a patrol car.
The deputies returned fire.
Nobody was hit. The men fled but they were arrested after an hours-long search. They were booked on suspicion of attempted murder of a peace officer.
