Minor Quake in Los Angeles Area

A magnitude 3.1 earthquake struck tonight about 55 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake hit at 10:54 p.m. about two miles west northwest of Loma Linda.

No damage or injuries were immediately reported.
