Man Shot in NoHo Sears Parking Lot

North Hollywood (myFOXla.com) - A man was shot in the neck at a Sears parking lot Wednesday night in North Hollywood and hospitalized in critical condition.

The shooting occurred at 8:44 p.m. outside the Sears in the 6400 block of North Laurel Canyon Boulevard, near Victory Boulevard, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Karen Rayner.

The shooter was in a black BMW, said Lt. Bryan Lium of the North Hollywood Station.

"Detectives are still at the scene questioning people, gathering information," Lium said.

According to investigators, the suspect and the victim went to the parking lot to work out a dispute and it escalated to the shooting, Rayner said.

The victim was described as a man in his 20s, according to Rayner.
