Los Angeles - The owners of the Holmby Hills mansion where Michael Jackson died are suing a woman who sells maps to movie stars' homes within view of the eight-bedroom chateau, claiming potential buyers are put off by the business, it was reported today.
The 16,000-square-foot home built in 2002 -- it sold for $18.5 million in 2004 -- has been on the market since shortly after Jackson died there June 25, 2009.
Hubert and Roxanne Guez claim Linda Welton's business is keeping them from selling the place, which is just north of Sunset Boulevard between Benedict Canyon and Beverly Glen, TMZ.com reported .
"Potential buyers are bothered upon approach by the quite visible and annoying constant illegal stopping and/or parking of cars in front of the home on what otherwise would be a quiet residential street," according to the lawsuit.
The owners say the business, including Welton's lawn chair and umbrella, have contributed to the property's loss in value. But Welton's no greenhorn, TMZ reported. Her mother, who also sold star maps, won a lawsuit aimed at driving her out of business.
