Los Angeles - A founder of the Pinkberry yogurt chain was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on an assault with a deadly weapon charge.
Young Lee, 47, was arrested by the LAX Fugitive Task Force for an outstanding warrant for an assault in downtown Los Angeles that occurred in June, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Karen Rayner.
The task force includes LAPD officers and FBI agents, according to the Los Angeles Times, which first reported the arrest.
Lee was in the process of paying $60,000 bail and being released from jail, Rayner said.
Lee co-founded Pinkberry with Shelly Hwang. Its first store opened in West Hollywood in 2005 and the low-calorie yogurt chain quickly grew.
