Norwalk (myFOXla.com) - Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies say tips from the public helped lead to the arrest of a suspect who allegedly robbed a man outside a convenience store while holding a 3-year-old boy in his arms.
Sheriff's officials say Jeremy Gallegos was arrested Thursday and booked on suspicion of robbery and child endangerment. He's being held on $100,000 bail.
Deputies say the man was holding the boy when he ordered a man outside a convenience store last month to hand over his wallet and two cans of beer he'd just purchased.
The suspect allegedly lifted his shirt to reveal a handgun in his waistband.
