Teen Killed in Lynwood Shooting

Lynwood - A teenage boy was shot dead on Wednesday night and another was wounded in Lynwood. The shooting occurred about 7 p.m. at Imperial Highway and Hulme Avenue, near Lynwood High School, sheriff's Lt. Mike Rosson told reporters at the scene.

"There was a call of vandalism occurring, tagging on a wall," Rosson said.

When deputies arrived they found a 17-year-old boy dead and a 16-year-old wounded, Rosson said.

A tearful young woman at the scene told Fox11 the shooting was "outrageous" and senseless.
