LAMW: Larry Vaquero's Murder

Walnut Park (myFOXla.com) - US Army Staff Sergeant Larry Vaquero was murdered on September 11, 2003, in the kitchen of his apartment in Walnut Park. SSG Vaquero worked nearby at the Military recruitment center on Pacific Avenue in Huntington Park.

Investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Bureau believe that the murder may be in some way connected the recruitment center.

Anyone with any information about SSG Vaquero's activities at the recruitment station, no matter how unimportant that information may seem, is asked to call Detective Joe Romero at the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau: 323.890.5500.
