Northridge - The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is looking for Thomas Velarde in connection with a shooting on January 10, 2009 in Compton.
After a show featuring Mexico's Banda Imperio near the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue and Gibson Street, Velarde allegedly murdered a young man at the Tacos Sinaloense next door to the concert location.
Anyone with information about the shooting and Velarde's whereabouts is asked to call Det. Howard Cooper or Det. Donna Cheek at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Homicide Bureau: (323) 890-5500.
