CHICAGO - Cell phone video of a suburban Chicago girl's beating was released Friday that showed the teen being punched and kicked while another girl cut her hair off.

Fox Chicago News obtained the exclusive cell phone video showing a group of teenage girls savagely beating another. The report also says the victim was also burned during the attack.

You can see Craig Wall's report in the video player.

According to victim’s mother, two of the five girls have been charged with one count of battery and mob action. Both of the charges are misdemeanors. According to the victim’s mother, three other girls haven’t been charged.

The mom says she's equally disturbed that the bystanders did nothing to intervene.

The beating took place in the far south suburbs on June 2. According to the victim's mother, the fight was over an alleged boyfriend.
