Five people were shot dead Tuesday night in what police suspect was a murder-suicide at a health spa in Norcross, Ga., myFOXatlanta.com reported.
Authorities responded to the shooting at the Su Jung Health Sauna on Buford Highway, just northeast of Atlanta, around 9:00 pm ET.
Norcross Police Captain Brian Harr said at a brief press conference that while details were sketchy, police had recovered one firearm at the scene and believed the incident was a murder-suicide.
"We will be investigating it, but it certainly appears that [it was a murder-suicide]," Harr said.
Harr said the gender of the victims was still not known and declined to say where the bodies had been found inside the Korean spa.
The spa is apparently run by a husband and a wife, according to a source who spoke with myFOXatlanta.
Norcross Police Chief Warren Summers earlier told WSB-TV that one victim was being transported to a hospital, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called to the scene to help investigate.
