Los Angeles - Governor Jerry Brown's office is defending billions of dollars in budget cuts which will affect the poor, the elderly, and the disabled.

This in reaction to a YouTube video made by a Hollywood actor who says Brown's actions could be his death warrant.

Jim Troesh is talking about the budget cuts the governor signed Thursday. He made this video a few days earlier hoping the governor wouldn't make cuts that could affect his in-home nursing care.

Right now, it's not clear when the cuts would go into effect of if they might be contested by the federal government. If they are, more deep cuts will have to come from somewhere else.

FOX 11's Hal Eisner has the story in the video report.
