Los Angeles - California still doesn't have a state budget and Governor Schwarzenegger says he won't sign one unless it contains significant pension reform.
The governor has called state pensions "the single biggest threat" to California's fiscal health.
Attorney General Jerry Brown, who's running for governor, agrees with Schwarzenegger that pension reform is needed.
Brown wants a higher retirement age for new state employees. He also advocates current workers' contributing more of their salaries toward retirement.
Jerry Brown was in the FOX 11 News studio on Friday night to talk about pension reform. You can watch the entire interview video in the media player.
