Los Angeles - The Holidays are here again and to ensure that local children in foster care receive some gifts this Season, Rusnak Auto Group is working with DCFS and Wednesday's Child to orchestrate a Winter Wonderland Toy Drive.
And this week we're getting a special sneak preview of this Winter Wonderland Toy Drive from Santa's helper, Elizabeth Rusnak, and her special guest, Travis.
Travis was born in 2006 and loves cartoons. He has a gentle personality and temperament and is very affectionate. Travis does have some special needs in that he is mildly delayed and has some speech and language issues that are being addressed.
Travis is quiet and a bit shy at first, but this can be a strength in keeping young Travis safe as he is not likely to rush into trusting strangers.
Travis is making great developmental strides and with the right family and support, he's bound to be all that he can be.
This sneak peak at the Winter Wonderland Toy Drive was a day full of fun for Travis - including a Build-A- Bear workshop, cupcakes, and even some falling snow - and of course Santa had some toys with Travis' name on them. The one thing that is still on our wish-list for Travis is a nurturing family to provide for his needs - not just for a season but year-round - while receiving the joy and affection Travis has to bring.
