Los Angeles - It was once said that "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get." When we see celebrities on TV, we imagine them to be different than the rest of us and that their lives are rich and dreamy.

This week’s Wednesday’s Child, Victoriyah (1998), hopes to be an actor and writer someday but today Vicky (as she likes to be called) is glad to be meeting Camille Winbush, a star from one of her favorite ABC Family shows, "The Secret Life of an American Teenager" as they both take a first-hand look at what goes into making a box of chocolates at Chocolatique in Los Angeles.

Vicky enjoys arts and crafts and had a sweet time during this first try at making chocolates. Vicky would also like to find a delightfully right permanent family and safe place to call home, but recognizes that the prospect and process of finding such sometimes makes her anxious. But knowing that a sweet reward could be the pay off, Vicky is open to learning about the ingredients and "flavor" of different families to see how well she would blend in without losing her own essence.

Other than watching TV and movies and doing some writing, Vicky also enjoys sports such as swimming and basketball. She’s engaging, personable and willing to try and learn new things. While our “stars” played the roles of chocolatier apprentices, they also got a chance to talk and Vicky got the sense that – while they have had some different experiences – she and Camille are not that different.

Vicky’s future could become sweeter with the support of a permanent family and home. To learn more about Vicky and about adoption, please tune in to Wednesday’s Child or give us a call at 866-921-ADOPT (2367).
