For Dayveon, participating in team sports and trying to live …
Los Angeles - Science encompasses everything around us and shows us at the molecular level how systems are interconnected. And there are many fascinating things – things that don’t necessarily seem related – to explore at the California Science Center, so Wednesday’s Child met up there with this week’s youngster as he explored exhibits about everything from outer space to the Madagascar Hissing Cockroach and more.
Wesley (2002) has had many losses in his younglife, so it’s no wonder that he’s a little shy at first and takes his time to get to know someone new before he shows his fun interactive side. Once you get over that hump with him, Wesley relishes one-on-one attention and will let you now what’s on his mind.
Wesley does well in school and is open to new experiences. He loves animals and loves to explore. At the California Science Center, Wesley got a lesson in interacting with electricity -- something we rely on but also something that could hurt you if you’re not careful. Wesley listened intently to directions and had his first interaction with a Van De Graaff machine (an electric generator) and learned how to handle it responsibly and with a sense of security and wonder.
We are looking for the right family to provide guidance and security to Wesley as he continues to explore all that life has to offer. If your heart and mind feel an electrifying excitement about the idea of making Wesley part of your forever family, please don’t just wonder about it – give us a call today.
