It is often said that if you visit Africa, you will be changed forever... That indeed was the case for celebrity photographer Michael Caufield.
In 2006, Caufield and documentarian Adisa Septuri worked on a documentary in Sierra Leone, which gave them a view in to the cruel world of "blood diamonds." The two could not believe that children worked in the diamond mines and made a pact to make a diffrence in the children's lives.
They later founded The Finaza Foundation, which established a soccer league and scholarships to get the kids of Sierra Leone in school.
Christine Devine has more on The Finaza Foundation in this video report.
The Finaza Foundation takes financial donations as well as soccer gear and clothing, used and new. Go to www.finazafoundation.org , to find out how you can make a donation.
