Los Angeles - The Tiger Woods saga landed in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Rachel Uchitel, the woman who denies a tabloid's claim she
had an affair with Tiger Woods, arrived in Los Angeles on Sunday to
meet with her new lawyer, while the world's greatest golfer
continued to dodge authorities investigating a solo-vehicle crash
that sent him to a hospital.
Woods, 33, was backing out of his driveway in Isleworth, near
Orlando, Fla., at 2:25 a.m. Friday when his Cadillac Escalade
sheared off a fire hydrant and hit a neighbor's tree, according to
the Florida Highway Patrol. Initially reported to be in serious
condition and in and out of consciousness, he was treated at a
hospital and released in good condition.
Meantime, the 911 call audio recording after the Tiger Woods accident has been released. You can listen to the Tiger Woods 911 call audio in the player below. (Note: There are some intentional pauses in the Tiger Woods 911 call recording)
Authorities said Woods' wife, Swedish super model Elin
Nordigren, used a golf club to break a window in the SUV to get
Woods out after the crash, but TMZ.com reported the couple argued
and that Nordigren broke the window in anger.
The accident occurred two days after
the National Enquirer reported he was having an affair with
Rachel Uchitel , who has been described as a "party
girl" and hostess at a VIP nightclub in Manhattan.
Uchitel has denied the report and hired celebrity lawyer
Gloria Allred, who picked her up at midday at Los Angeles
International Airport, amid a swarm of paparazzi.
"We're going to meet and at some point we'll decide what the
next step is," Allred said as the pair posed in a baggage claim
area. Her remarks
were picked up by a video camera for TMZ ,
which posted it online.
She also said her client would have no immediate comment.
Uchitel, who has angrily denied the Enquirer's report, first
entered the public eye when her fiancee was killed in the Twin
Towers attack of 2001. Since then, Uchitel has been the subject of
occasional gossip page items.

Who Is Rachel Uchitel?
For the third time today, Woods declined to be interviewed by
Florida Highway Patrol investigators, but did release a terse
statement saying he isn't perfect.
"As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this
week, and sustained some injuries," he said in the five-paragraph
statement. "I have some cuts, bruising and right now I'm pretty
sore.
"This situation is my fault, and it's obviously embarrassing
to my family and me. I'm human and I'm not perfect. I will
certainly make sure this doesn't happen again.
"This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way.
Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded
and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family
and me are irresponsible.
"The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife,
Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble.
She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is
absolutely false."
Woods is scheduled to host the Chevron World Challenge golf
tournament at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks later this
week, but it was unclear whether he will be there.
