Los Angeles - Street closures will begin at 3:15 a.m. today for the Los Angeles Marathon, then begin reopening as early as 10:15 a.m.

The following streets will be closed from 3:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

-- Elysian Park Avenue between Dodger Stadium and Sunset Boulevard;
-- Sunset Boulevard/Cesar Chavez Avenue between Douglas Street and Alameda Street (may be closed to Vignes Street, if necessary);
-- Temple Street between Alameda Street and Glendale Boulevard;
-- First Street between Alameda Street and Hope Street;
-- Main Street between Second Street and Alameda Street;
-- Spring Street between Cesar Chavez Avenue and Second Street;
-- Broadway between Ord Street and Second Street;
-- Hill Street between Ord Street and Second Street;
-- Olive Street between Second Street and First Street;
-- Grand Avenue between Second Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue;
-- Figueroa Street between First Street and Alpine Street;
-- Beaudry Avenue between First Street and Sunset Boulevard;
-- East Edgeware Road between Temple Street and Bellevue Avenue; and
-- Glendale Boulevard between Scott Avenue and Temple Street.

The following streets will be closed from 3:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

-- Parkman Avenue between Glendale Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard;
-- Sunset Boulevard between Echo Park Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard;
-- Alvarado Street between Glendale Boulevard and Temple Street;
-- Santa Monica Boulevard between Hoover Street and Sunset Boulevard;
-- Griffith Park Boulevard between Effie Street and Sunset Boulevard;
-- Fountain Avenue between Myra Avenue and Virgil Avenue;
-- Hillhurst Avenue/Virgil Avenue between Franklin Avenue and Fountain Avenue (may be closed to Santa Monica Boulevard, if necessary); and.
-- Sunset Boulevard between Vermont Avenue and Virgil Avenue.

The following streets will be closed from 3:55 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.

-- Hollywood Boulevard between Sunset Boulevard and La Brea Avenue;
-- Vermont Avenue between Sunset Boulevard and Franklin Avenue;
-- Normandie Avenue between Sunset Boulevard and Franklin Avenue;
-- Western Avenue between Sunset Boulevard and Franklin Avenue;
-- Wilton Place between Sunset Boulevard and Franklin Avenue;
-- Bronson Avenue between Sunset Boulevard and Franklin Avenue;
-- Gower Street between Sunset Boulevard and Franklin Avenue;
-- Vine Street between Sunset Boulevard and Franklin Avenue; and
-- Cahuenga Boulevard between Sunset Boulevard and Franklin Avenue.

The following streets will be closed from 4 a.m. to noon.

-- Sunset Boulevard from Havenhurst Drive to Doheny Drive;
-- San Vicente Boulevard from Sunset Boulevard to Melrose Avenue;
-- Santa Monica Boulevard from La Cienega Avenue to Doheny Drive; and
-- Doheny Drive from Santa Monica Boulevard to Beverly Boulevard.

The following streets will be closed from 4:05 a.m. to 12:10 p.m.

-- Highland Avenue between Santa Monica Boulevard and Franklin Avenue;
-- Orange Drive between Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard;
-- Sunset Boulevard between Highland Avenue and Crescent Heights Boulevard;
-- La Brea Avenue between Hollywood Boulevard and De Longpre Avenue;
-- Fairfax Avenue between Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard;
-- Laurel Canyon Boulevard/Crescent Heights Boulevard between Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard;

The following streets will be closed from 4:20 a.m. to 1 p.m.

-- Doheny Drive between Beverly Boulevard and Burton Way;
-- Third Street between Robertson Boulevard and Doheny Drive; and
-- Burton Way between Robertson Boulevard and Doheny Drive.

The following streets will be closed from 4:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.

-- The north side of westbound Santa Monica Boulevard between Moreno Drive and Sawtelle Boulevard;
-- Beverly Glen Boulevard between Wilshire Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard;
-- Westwood Boulevard between Wilshire Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard;
-- Veteran Avenue between Wilshire Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard;
-- Sepulveda Boulevard between Wilshire Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard (may be closed to Olympic Boulevard (if necessary);
-- Cotner Avenue between Santa Monica Boulevard and Ohio Avenue; and
-- Ohio Avenue between Veteran Avenue and Corinth Avenue.

The following streets will be closed from 5 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

-- San Vicente Boulevard between Wilshire Boulevard and Montana Avenue;
-- The south side of eastbound San Vicente Boulevard between Montana Avenue and 26th Street;
-- Barrington Avenue between Sunset Boulevard and Wilshire Boulevard;
-- Montana Avenue between Bundy Drive and Barrington Avenue; and
-- Kenter Avenue/Bundy Drive between Sunset Boulevard and Wilshire Boulevard.

In Beverly Hills, streets on the marathon course will be closed from approximately 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to Cheryl Burnett, Beverly Hills' public relations manager.

The marathon course enters Beverly Hills where Santa Monica Boulevard meets Doheny Drive, continues south along Doheny Drive to Burton Way, then west along Burton

Way until it becomes South Santa Monica Boulevard, continuing along South Santa Monica Boulevard until Rodeo Drive, then south on Rodeo Drive until Wilshire Boulevard, west on Wilshire Boulevard until Santa Monica Boulevard to the Beverly Hills city limit.

In Santa Monica, no traffic will be allowed to enter or cross the race course from 6 a.m. until street reopening begins at approximately 3 p.m. at the east end of Santa Monica.

Traffic will not be able to enter or cross at any point along San Vicente Boulevard and Ocean Avenue between San Vicente Boulevard and Colorado Avenue.

Ocean Avenue will be closed to all vehicle travel between San Vicente Boulevard and Colorado Avenue.

The westbound lanes of San Vicente Boulevard will be open. The eastbound lanes of San Vicente Boulevard will be closed.

Ocean Avenue will be closed to all vehicle travel between San Vicente Boulevard and Colorado Avenue. Northbound traffic will be allowed on Ocean Avenue from Pico Boulevard to Colorado Avenue.

Main Street will be closed between Pico Boulevard and Colorado Avenue during the more pre-event loading period and until Santa Monica police authorize it to be reopened.

The California incline will be closed.
