Los Angeles - Another round of light rain moved into Southern California Sunday night, along with windy conditions and low temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.

Another tenth to a quarter-inch of rain was expected, which is about the same amount that came down Friday night.

A slight chance of rain will continue through the week, according to the Weather Service.

Highs today are expected to be around 60 degrees.

A wind advisory is in effect for the Los Angeles area until 8 tonight because of expected 20 to 30 mph hour winds, with gusts up to 45 mph, and overnight lows are expected to drop into the upper 40s.

The chance of rain is 50 percent tonight, and 20 percent Wednesday through Saturday.

In advance of the rain Friday night, 200 homes were ordered evacuated in the foothills near the site of last summer's Station wildfire because of the threat of debris slides, but those orders were lifted early Saturday.

No major problems were reported in the burn areas.

A steady downpour overnight Feb. 6 triggered mudslides that damaged or destroyed at least nine homes in La Canada Flintridge's Paradise Valley neighborhood.

With more than 13 inches of rain so far this rainy season, Los Angeles is closing in on its annual norm, about 15 inches. The last time downtown Los Angeles exceeded the yearly average was in 2005-06, when a whopping 26.6 inches fell.
